The industrial foundation has been continuously improved, the level of the industrial chain has been continuously improved, and the quality of development has been significantly improved. New well-building technologies are constantly emerging, green mining technologies are widely promoted, and the efficiency of coal mining and coal resource utilization has been greatly improved. Large-scale fully mechanized mining technical equipment with an annual output of 10 million tons and coal mining machines and hydraulic supports with a height of 8.8 meters and 20 million tons of transport aircraft and 7 million tons of large-scale hydraulic excavator open-pit mining technical equipment have all been localized. Coal science and technology has realized the transformation from "following" to "parallel running" and "leading" in some fields.

With the continuous deepening of the structural reforms on the coal supply side and the continuous optimization of the coal industry structure, the production methods of coal mines have gradually shifted to mechanized, automated, informatized, intelligent and clean modernized large-scale production, the production efficiency of raw coal has been greatly improved, and safe production is stable The situation improved and the new format accelerated. The industry has initially formed a pattern of integrated and coordinated development of diverse industries such as coal, electricity, coal chemical industry, building materials, new energy, modern logistics, e-commerce, and financial services.

China International Coal Mining Technology Exchange and Equipment Exhibition was founded in 1980 (after 1987, it was changed every two years) and has now been successfully held for 17 sessions. After the reform of government agencies in 1998, the China Coal Industry Association undertook the exhibition work originally sponsored by the industry management department. As the pace of China's reform and opening up has accelerated, the scale of the exhibition has continued to expand, and the number of exhibitors and visitors has continued to increase. Since the fifteenth exhibition, the exhibition area has mostly exceeded 80,000 square meters, and the number of visitors has exceeded 100,000. It has become an important platform for cooperation and exchange between the coal mining industry event in Asia and the international coal industry.
